I recently purchased this 2011 Audi Q7 3.0 Prestige S-Line with 145k on the odometer. The only thing it needed was tires. It ran great, rode great, and had no issues. Last week, I had new rear wheel bearings installed along with new rear brakes. Transmission shifted smoothly, and was a great suv. Fresh oil change along with new spark plugs, all was perfect…suddenly a few days ago, while cruising at approximately 45 mph, there was a loss of power along with a loud rapping noise coming from the engine. I had the Q towed home to mitigate more damage. It will start. It will go into drive or reverse, however it barely can move.
I really love this suv, it’s my 3rd Q7. Obviously, there has to be something seriously wrong with it.
I’ve considered parting it out when I found out how much various parts are worth…headlights, catalytic converters, supercharger, transmission, etc. Junk yards are asking $500 each for headlights. Each cat are fetching $500 each. There is no rust.
This Q7 is a Prestige S-Line. Has all the options.
Looking to sell for $2,500. I have the clear title.
