I get it - you're well-intentioned, and you want your trash to be repurposed to benefit someone else. So you put an ad on CL w your address - or even worse, a nearby intersection.
What you've done is incredibly lazy. I know, you're going to delete the ad when it's gone.
Are you watching and waiting? Hard to believe as such.
Worst case scenario, someone with a genuine need gets into a fight with someone else with a genuine need - I've seen it!
Other considerations: Gas is FIVE DOLLARS a gallon. Did you consider someone may waste fuel trying to get to the item? Or even worse, into an accident!
Just stop with the curb alerts. It is the EPITOME of lazy and pathetic.
If you can't be bothered to ensure one person is going to benefit and another isn't going to lose out, you are inconsiderate, and you should just stay off the internet.
