I have owned this vehicle for three years and have serviced it well. When I first bought it I had the rust sanded off of the frame and had it treated with Fluid Film. The second year I had it re-coated. It has new tires (see picture), newer battery, new alternator, and I recently replaced the radiator. It runs good and inspection is good through November 2025.
Issues: It has minor rust at the bottom of the doors. It smells like gas, especially when I fill up the tank. It does not yet drip gas but it must leak somewhere enough that you can smell it. You will probably need to replace the gas tank for inspection and maybe the fuel lines depending on where the leak is. Other things that should be done before inspection are: front brake pads and rotor, right tie rod, front shocks. I never checked the gas mileage but it probably isn't very good. Remember that this is a suburban 2500 - not 1500. This thing is a four wheel drive beast. I'm told it is built on the frame of a 3/4 ton pick up truck.
I am selling it "as is" with no guarantees. Serious buyers are welcome to take it to a local mechanic for evaluation - at your cost. Vehicle is yours for 2000 dollars cash. Price is firm - not negotiable.
