Don't buy a piano without seeing it first- Yamaha C3 (Pittsburgh)

make / manufacturer: yamaha
model name / number: C3DF

Here's how you figure out whether you're being scammed:

1. Reverse image search on Google - people without a real object can't have the same picture in a different city
2. Keep searching even if reverse image doesn't come up with anything; try keywords in the description
3. If someone says they are giving it away for free, especially if it has sentimental value, and it's worth over $1000, it's probably a scam
4. If that person is unwilling or unable to show you the instrument in person, it's a scam

The Yamaha C3 being sold by "Wilson" is a scam. The same ad is up in Tallahassee, FL. Reverse image didn't do it, but word search will. DO NOT BE FOOLED and never buy an instrument from a private seller without being able to verify either in person yourself, or hire an independent technician to go see the instrument for you. OR buy it from a verified seller, like you would off Amazon or Reverb.

As a side note, he claimed his deceased wife owned the piano, which is disgusting.
Also, my friend encountered this exact scam last year, with a Steinway upright, so this guy hits Pittsburgh often.
