GHOST HOST - WPTT

If you're anything like me and you grew up in the late 70's/early 80's, and you grew up near either Baltimore or Pittsburgh, you may very well remember the late-night horror show, Ghost Host.

Ghost Host was carried by WBFF in Baltimore and WPTT in Pittsburgh, and aired on Saturday nights around midnight. The host of the show was portrayed by the late George Lewis, who also portrayed Captain Chesapeake for WBFF and Captain Pitt for WPTT. Allegedly, WBFF tossed the old tapes into a dumpster and if it weren't for a dumpster diver, there would be none of the episodes left. Luckily, there are three episodes left - Night Key, The Black Cat and Frankenstein.

I have contacted both WBFF and WPNT (formerly WPTT) in the past and asked if there were any tapes left of the show, but they either never got back to me or told me that they don't have the tapes anymore. That's where you come in.

I'm hoping that there is someone out there that grew up in/near Pittsburgh or Baltimore that was able to record those shows back in the day. Below is a link of the opening montage for the show. If you're out there and you have any of the shows on tape, other than the three mentioned, PLEASE contact me!

Cheers!
