We are seeking a dependable HVAC Delivery Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for transporting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment and supplies to job sites and warehouses. This is a physically demanding role that requires safe driving and excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate delivery vehicles (e.g., 26-foot box trucks or cargo vans) to transport HVAC units and parts.
Load and unload heavy equipment, often exceeding 100 pounds, using proper lifting techniques and tools.
Inspect vehicles daily for safety and maintenance needs.
Coordinate with the warehouse and field technicians to ensure timely deliveries and correct inventory.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
Qualifications:
Driving: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL often not required but a plus).
Physical: Ability to lift/maneuver 50–100+ lbs regularly.
Compliance: Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
Experience: 1–2 years of delivery experience preferred; basic knowledge of HVAC parts is a bonus.
Skills: Familiarity with GPS systems and local area navigation.
