About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced Truck Body Installer to join our growing team. This position focuses on preparing service bodies, utility beds, and dump bodies for installation, including adding accessories and ensuring quality standards are met before vehicles move to our install bays.
Responsibilities:
Prepare truck bodies and beds for installation in our install bays
Install accessories and components on service bodies and utility beds
Manage assigned tasks efficiently and stay on schedule
Perform quality control inspections to ensure work meets company standards
Apply 12V DC electrical fundamentals for lighting, switches, and accessories
Perform basic fabrication and modification work as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
Experienced to master-level technician with truck body or commercial vehicle background
Strong understanding of 12V DC electrical systems
Basic fabrication skills (cutting, drilling, welding a plus)
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Must have own hand tools (specialized tools and consumables provided)
Physical ability to lift heavy components and work in various positions
