For sale: Brown & Sharpe No. 2 Universal Horizontal Milling Machine. 3 horsepower, wired for 220V 3-phase 60 cycle, control voltage 110V, 12.0 full load amps. Spindle direction switchable for right-hand or left-hand cutters.
Machine is complete and mechanically intact. Cosmetically shop-worn as expected for a working industrial machine of this era. Has been in continuous use in a working manufacturing shop in Duncannon PA that produced reproduction parts for Harley-Davidson, Indian, and other vintage motorcycles for decades.
Includes a substantial lot of horizontal milling arbors and milling cutters — plain milling cutters, side milling cutters, staggered tooth cutters, and involute gear cutters. Arbors in multiple sizes. This tooling alone has real value and is included in the price.
