Oliver 232 table saw for sale. This came out of a tech school with fairly low hours. It’s been in my hobbyist shop for several years. I stripped it down, repainted it, and replaced bearings etc. It is a three phase machine, but I have it wired and programmed to a dust proof VFD so it can be run off typical single phase 220v. The motor is a 3hp direct drive, which offers vibration free cuts. The table is engraved with an imperial scale(duh, it’s American) that is clear to read. The rip fence is the real star of the machine. Bullet proof cast iron face that is flat and impossible to deflect. Setting the distance is incredibly precise and easy via a macro adjust rack and pinion coupled with a micro adjust. I think your max rip width is 25”+/-. If you are unfamiliar with “the good stuff” then you are in for a treat with this machine. One, it is unbelievably heavy for such a compact footprint. The handwheels weigh a lot. Nothing is plastic. The handwheels have oil points and thrust bearings to make adjustments buttery smooth. The trunnions are 15-20 times larger than a typical 10” cabinet saw. The arbor nut would kill you if someone threw it at you. It is a lovely machine for solid furniture joinery. It is a joy to run and use. I am moving this summer and want to lighten the load by a few thousand pounds beforehand.

Extras that come with the machine. A 10”Forrest dado king set. 12” Freud industrial rip blade. Shark guard splitter/riving knife. The original Allen Bradley starter that I polished up and repainted. This can easily be wired to the VFD to act as your on/off. Finally a vintage American miter gauge. This is a large miter gauge and weighs 25lbs. However, the bar is maybe 1/32” too wide for the Oliver’s miter slots. My plan was to have a machinist grind off a tiny amount so it worked with the Oliver. Finally, you can have all of my dado jigs etc.
