In this listing we are offering a super duty 9 x 16 Taiwanese metal cutting band saw that we have sold to production shops, trade schools and industrial users for over 25 years! We stock parts and offer service on the units. Backed by a full 1 year warranty, this saw is in shops all over the US; this is the big brother to the ever popular ACCURA 01712. Powered by a robust 1 1/2 hp motor that is pre-wired for 220 volt operation, this unit will POWER through your bigger jobs. Coolant pump and tank are also included, and you can easily select between wet and dry cutting modes with the convenient controls. Hydraulic downfeed cylinder allows you to control the feed rate easily with the twist of a knob. Uses standard 1” x 119 1/2” bands, and the unit has 4 cutting speeds by simple belt change. The 4 speeds are 82, 132, 170 and 235 FPM. We have several customers who have purchased multiples of this unit, and they would gladly attest to the fact that it is a great machine for a great price
