This was my first homelab. It was working with Proxmox and I'm rebuilding it so that it will boot and show proxmox. You can buy it before I finish it you feel you want to change stuff or start from scratch (I would).
If you are on the fence about this or newer hardware, you can get a lot of play out of this thing until you get an idea of what you want to spend many more bucks on. Average load with a bunch of spinny drives was around 180 watts.
I will deliver within 50 or so miles of Pittsburgh for $50 bucks upfront (even if you change your mind) at delivery.
