I grew this gourd in my garden and then cured it. That process took approximately 2 years to complete before I could transform it into this 'HOCKEY HUT'.
My grandson played on several different hockey teams while he was in school which inspired me to create this HOCKEY HUT. He loaned me his hockey skate so that I could make an exact replica for this project. One team he played on was the Junior Pens.
I handmade all the pieces on this HOCKEY HUT: the hockey skate, pucks, hockey sticks, goal, the roof tiles and the LITTLE ICE RINK ON THE INSIDE!
The door can be opened and closed. When it is opened, you can look inside and see the TINY ICE RINK with 2 hockey sticks leaning against the goal.
