If you’re a serious beginner and want to ‘learn it right the first time,” or a seasoned pro looking for new ideas or concepts, please contact me!

I have a long track record of getting results. Several of my current or former students are performing professionally in well known local bands, have completed graduate degrees in guitar performance, or have been or are currently professors of guitar in colleges or universities throughout the Tri-State region.

I’ve been an adjunct professor of guitar at the university level (undergrad and graduate) for two dozen years. I teach at my beautiful, quiet home studio near the Meadows Casino / Tanger Outlets in Washington, PA, or online via Skype / FaceTime, or any combination of home studio / online instruction that might be convenient.

I’m also an active high level performer, with a resume too long to list here — but happy to send upon request. Many years as guitarist for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Civic Light Opera, Pittsburgh Musical Theatre, and many other top tier performing organizations. As for my academic background, I was graduated cum laude from Boston's Berklee College of Music with a Diploma in Professional Music (1979), hold a Master's Degree in Music Theory from Duquesne (1987), and was engaged in post graduate studies in Music Theory at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (1987-90).

I know I can help you achieve your goals in a structured path that will get results.

Jazz, Classical, Rock, Blues, and Music Theory.

Let’s get started! Call or email now!
