Seeking Rhythm Section (Drummer and Bassist) (Pittsburgh)

A project we manage is seeking a drummer and a bassist who are ready to jump into a project.
This project is a alt/indie/pop project aiming for 'mainstream', via first doing a college/indie-targeted debut self-release and tour while shopping the subsequent release's demos to major labels & subsidiaries. This is an investment of time, you are not expected to contribute financially to this undertaking. You are expected to practice 3+ times per week on your own and rehearse 2+ times a week with the group. This will be a fast-paced project.
For bassists: Groove-orientated, BASS-minded (not guitar minded), bass-LINE-writing bassists.
For drummers: Looking for a drummer whose passion is solely, or at least mainly, DRUMMING. You'll be expected to be able to not only play WITH (not 'to) a click, but also WITH other drum tracks *that will be staying in the music*. (Think of bands such as Polica that have 2 drummers, or groups like T0P/Glass Animals that use a track AND a live drummer. Multi-dimensional. This requires a drummer that is able to invest time, to tour, and to make this their only, or at least 'main', project. Someone who is confident, but leaves arrogance at the door. A drummer who will serve the SONG and find satisfaction in playing tight songs and playing a pivotal role in serving the song rather than showing off all that they're capable of.
FOR ALL: Open to candidates older than the range or at the top end of the range, so long as you are CURRENT with NEW music that has come out the past couple of years. Does it sound demanding? It is. Does hard work turn you off? No need to apply. This WILL be challenging. But it will be WORTH IT. If it were easy, every band would 'make it' and have a #1 album. You'll be playing alongside musicians who have toured and had charting songs in previous project(s).
