Sold my old Kawai EP-308 a few years ago, now it's time to part with her 'little brother', the EP-608. I don't play it anymore so it's time to find her a new owner that will play and love her!
The EP-608 is a true acoustic piano with a pickup board to send the signal to an amp and it also has a tremolo circuit. The Kawai EP line was their answer to the Yamaha acoustic/electrics 'back in the day' (CP60, CP70, CP80) and the EP-608 is very similar to the Yamaha CP60. It's a small upright that is actually what was considered to be a portable piano for a gigging/touring musician. Honestly they aren't hard at all to move. They aren't very heavy and are on wheels, so it's not a ball-buster to move!
The EP-608 is a pretty rare bird... there were only around 2500 of them made worldwide, and not very many have survived 35 years so yes, it is rather rare. A true piece of vintage keyboard history! I'm asking $1000 but will listen to offers.
