Friedman's Dirty Shirley 40 watt, all-tube, made in the USA amp head is a modern day classic. The range of tones that this head can reach is phenomenal. Everything from beautiful cleans to blistering rock are represented here. And thanks to the genius 3-way saturation switch and low and high inputs, it's one of the most harmonically complex and satisfying amps I've ever heard. Extremely fun to play and inspiring. You don't want to stop playing it!

To me, and many other pros, the Dirty Shirley is the crown jewel of Friedman's illustrious line. Where other Friedman amps go a little too far into the "sounds cool but am I going to really use this in a mix?" category, the Dirty Shirley lives right in the tonal sweet spot and stays there. The Dirty Shirley's best of the '60s, '70s and even early '80s sonic palate sounds HUGE while other Friedman's that are emulating more of a mid/late '80s tone honestly sound a little bit cheesy sometimes.

This one is in MINT/LIKE NEW condition and comes with a Tuki cover to make sure it stays that way.
