I believe these were from the 70s originally but still made through Fender's acquisition years with a few changes in production throughout.
Works well as a PA or guitar cab, handles bass greatly too, was played through a 50W Selmer and could scream and rumble, but I did notice a volume difference with an old amp like that, should be fine on most amps and a perfect match with solid states, especially Sunn's own I imagine.
Also guessing speakers are the originals since they sound fine as is, not worth breaking into the box, also present is the port between the speakers, not a tweeter as one would presume.
Its seen some action by the look of the tolex, please inspect the pictures, other than that this thing is ready to be thrown at whatever.
Worked great for me, upgrading to 4x12 so no longer needed.
