Vintage Marshall 2550 (Silver Jubilee) - $3,000 (Wexford)

This is a collectible amp in collectible condition, but it’s really the sound that matters most. It sounds amazing. (I’m hoping the buyer wants it for its sound not just as a collectible amp!)
This amp is in great condition and sounds exactly like a Jubilee should: thick midrange, singing lead tones, and classic Marshall crunch. These are getting harder to find unmodified and in this shape.

Condition:
Cosmetically very clean for its age with only light wear. Electronics are solid and everything works as it should. Amp handle covers and tubes were replaced, but everything else is stock to my knowledge.
I’m the second owner. I’ve had the amp about 20 years and have only used it out of the house on studio sessions. I’ve never used it live at a club. It has only been in my home studio or pro studios for sessions. So smoke free since I’ve owned it.
Why this amp:
This is the sound — Slash, Bonamassa, Frusciante, classic hard rock, blues, and early metal. Unlike modern reissues, this is a true late-’80s Marshall, and values have been steadily rising.
This is a rare opportunity to get this vintage classic.
