Many notable performers have preferred Baldwins during their careers, including Igor Stravinsky, Leonard Bernstein, and Ray Charles. Their primary manufacturing plants were located in Mississippi and Arkansas.
The Baldwin R has been fully rebuilt with new Mapes strings, Renner action parts, and a beautiful artcase with polished ebony finish and translucent, high tensile strength, acrylic body parts (legs, lid, music desk, and matching bench legs). This like-new Baldwin piano is a sight to behold with an equally competitive tone sure to please the practicing pianist.
*AMC Certified Rebuilt/Refinished Pianos include refinished case, new hammers, shanks and flanges, new strings and felt, tuning, voicing and action regulation. All brass has been polished to like-new or has been replaced.
