The Administrative Assistant will support the Operations Manager by entering new orders into our system, generating work orders and follow thru to invoicing and filing. Maintain filing system, order and maintain inventory of office supplies, Keep job board up to date and assist Operations Manager with scheduling, Answer phones professionally, setup shipping, follow up with collection on late accounts, run credit checks for approval on new customers, maintain customer data base. Other duties as assigned by Ops. Mgr. Possibility to lead into full time position, if willing to assist in warehouse operation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
* Ability to easily work in Microsoft office apps.
* Coordinate and monitor warehouse production - supply chain operations.
* Schedule, Expedite and track shipments to their final destination.
* Able to speak, read, write and comprehend simple instructions in English.
* Answer phones in a professional manner.
* Ability to perform basic math functions and accurately process orders.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently or in small teams with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate will have high school diploma or equivalent with some college experience, attention to detail and willingness to learn in a manufacturing environment.
