This chopper build was completed in 1977. It has been preserved in the original condition since then. I am only the second owner since 1973. This is a show winning bike. Some examples: Best Period Modified in Antique Motorcycle of America judging in 2005 and 2018. Second place in AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum Concours D'Elegance invitation only show in 2007. Was on loan to the National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa, Iowa for the Chopper Story Exhibit from 2015 to 2017. Currently has 6,290 miles since the chopper build was completed in 1977. When I bought it in 2004 it had 4,055. So for the first 27 years it had 4,055 miles put on it, and I've put 2,235 on it in the last 15 years. I've mostly ridden it locally to shows and bike nights, and I've trailered it around the country to various vintage bike events. Before I bought it the owner told me he had 2,000 miles on an overhaul that included new pistons, rings, valves, and valve guides. In 2017 I had it rewired and new Cycle Electric generator, voltage regulator, and battery eliminator. It has S & S Super E carburetor, 21" front and 16" rear Invader Mag wheels, and coffin style gas tank. The paint work includes gold leaf and marbleized effect. The painter placed a small logo at the tip of the tank near the seat, dated 9-26-77. I've had my fun with it over the last 15 years, and collected many trophies and awards. I'm selling to make room for another vintage bike.
