I had purchased 2 of these to be converted to vertical smokers for meats, sausages, & kielbasas. I only ended up making one of them. Therefore the 2nd unit is for sale. It took only a few hours of fabrication for the stand (angle iron) and the wiring to convert mine into a lifetime made smoker.
These units are manufactured By "Babington Technology Inc." of Rocky Mount, N.C. for cooking food and rations for the different military branches and other government agencies. These units are extremely well manufactured with only the best quality materials.
