Looking for a responsible handyperson to help with different jobs for a small property management firm. Overview desired skills:
+ plumbing - basic skills for assessing/fixing dripping faucets or toilets, simple leaks and drain clogs
+ electrical - ability to identify and diagnose electrical issues and to replace fixtures/outlets/switches
+ drywall/painting/flooring - ability to repair wall damage to a finished result and ability to replace/lay LVT flooring and carpeting is a plus
Requirements:
- Have experience navigating tenants and assessing basic issues to determine if tenant work order can be fixed by you or if a licensed or very experienced tradesperson is required to complete the task
- Must have own tools
- Must have driver’s license and dependable vehicle
- Must be dependable/reliable, and arrive on time
- Must be able to communicate and have a smart phone
- Ability to be on call some evenings and weekends, if emergencies arise, is a plus
