Experienced Tree Service Groundsman – Pittsburgh Area
Established tree service company is looking to add an experienced groundsman to our crew for daily tree care operations.
We are looking for someone who already understands the pace and expectations of professional tree work and can contribute to an efficient and safe job site.
Responsibilities include:
• Assisting climbers and bucket operators
• Roping and lowering operations
• Running equipment (skid steer, mini skid, stump grinder, etc.)
• Efficient brush handling and log management
• Maintaining a clean and organized job site
• Communicating clearly with crew members
Requirements:
• Prior experience working for a professional tree service company
• Knowledge of rigging and rope handling
• Ability to run a chainsaw safely and process wood efficiently
• Clean driving record
• Ability to drive manual transmission trucks
• Current DOT medical card
• Reliable transportation to work
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
We are looking for someone who shows up on time, works hard, and takes pride in their work.
Pay: $22–$28 per hour depending on experience and production.
