Compensation: $180 DOT Driver / $160 Helper + Tips (90 day review for a raise)
About the Role
Ever look at a beautifully furnished room and wonder how it all got there? You could be the final, most important link in that chain. We are looking for reliable, customer-focused Delivery Drivers and Delivery Assistants to bring Wayfair’s online catalog to life right in our customers' homes.
This isn't just a "drop and go" delivery gig. You will be operating as a two-person team to safely transport and deliver furniture ensuring every customer gets a 5-star experience.
What You’ll Do
Load & Secure: Inspect and load furniture and home goods into a box truck, ensuring all items are properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
Drive & Navigate: Safely operate a delivery vehicle (typically a 16ft to 26ft box truck) along pre-determined daily routes.
Heavy Lifting: Deliver items (often heavy or bulky, like couches, mattresses, and vanities) directly into customers' homes, navigating stairs and tight hallways as a team.
White-Glove Service: Perform basic assembly and installation of furniture when requested, and clear away packaging materials.
Be the Face of the Brand: Provide friendly, professional, and empathetic customer service. You’re representing a brand people love!
What We’re Looking For
The Strength: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy items (often 75–150+ lbs) continuously throughout the day with a partner.
The Drive: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL is not required, but DOT card is and experience driving box trucks is a huge plus).
The Reliability: Dependable punctuality and a strong work ethic.
The Attitude: Great communication skills and a problem-solving mindset when handling delivery logistics or customer questions.
The Tech: Comfort using a smartphone/tablet for routing, scanning inventory, and logging successful deliveries.
Requirements
Must be at least 21 years old (for driving positions).
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Must have reliable transportation to the dispatch warehouse.
