Very rare version Elgin Master Navigation pocket watch. Model AN-5740 with factory white dial. "AN" Designation is for Army and Navy while the "AF" de notes Air Force. The 43 in the serial number indicates it was put into service in 1943. It is one of the highest grade BW Raymond movements made with 21/22 jewels, hack feature, and up/down wind indicator. Grade 581 in the original factory Elgin knurled case. Dial features up and down indicator, both 12 hour and 60 minute indications, center hack seconds, and GCT (Greenwich Civil Time) marking.
The watch is in near mint condition and working perfectly which makes this an outstanding find for the advanced collector!
