Made just after the first world war in 1923 by the first American company to produce pocket watches, the Illinois Watch Company. This is a very high quality railroad grade movement and the model is called a Santa Fe Special. Case movement and dial are all matching. The 16 size case features an enamel embellished American eagle over the patriotic Shield in red white and blue. The doll is double sunk porcelain signed Santa Fe special and Illinois and is what they call a Montgomery dial. The movement which is also signed is fully adjusted, features 21 jewels, has been cleaned and oiled, and is keeping accurate time while running properly.
There aren't many out there as nice as this one!!!
