Companion Services
Employees provide services to participants living in private homes focusing solely on the health and safety of the participant.
IDD attendants might help a participant with:
Cooking
Cleaning
Home chores
Shopping
Attending medical appointments
Making crafts
Playing a board game
Watching a favorite show
Providing companionship
In Home and Community Supports
Employees provide services to help people gain, maintain, and improve skills that allow them to live and participate in their local community.
IDD attendants may assist participants with the following:
Gaining socialization and adaptive skills
Shopping and errands
Going out to eat at their favorite restaurant
Taking a participant bowling, to a movie, or the library
Exploring a museum, amusement park, or festival
Our participants enjoy being involved in community events and we are always seeking out fun things to do locally!

Position Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to lift or transfer up to 100 lbs.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances
Preferred:
High School Diploma or GED
Previous experience as a Direct Care Aide, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide or Direct Support Professional
Prior experience with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
