They have red flowers and large green leaves, and grow about 5' to 6' tall.
Store rhizomes over winter. Keep in cool, dark place. Ready to plant in the spring, after frost.
I store mine in boxes in layers with newspaper (or you can use peat moss or wood shavings).
I also store my own in pots, with potting mix, over the winter, which I keep in the garage and put outside in the spring.
