Stihl MS 271 Farm Boss + EXTRAS!! - $300 (Donegal/Acme)

For sale is a Stihl MS271 chainsaw plus many extras. 50.2cc saw, 20 inch bars and chains.
This saw was purchased new approximately 4 1/2 years ago. Starts easy on 2 or 3 pulls every time. I have had ZERO issues with this saw. Air filter, fuel filter and spark plug replaced every two years, most recently 6 months ago. It’s been used to cut down small to medium sized trees for firewood. This saw is VERY fuel efficient chainsaw. You can cut A LOT of wood per tank of fuel. I’ve owned a lot of chainsaws over the years, and used more at work, and this is by far the most fuel efficient chainsaw I’ve ever used.
This saw comes with a total of 3 chains, all 20”. The chains are Stihl 26RS81 chains, Stihl part number 3639 005 0081. This includes the chain currently on the saw, plus two identical chains that are brand new, in box (see picture). The chain on the saw is very lightly used and has plenty of life left in it.
Also comes with all of the following:
1) 20” Oregon bar
2) Bar scabbard
3) Bar wrench (scrench)
4) 3 brand new, in package Stihl .325” files, Stihl part number 7010 871 0397.
5) Brand new file handle.
As I said, there is nothing wrong with this saw at all. I am not unhappy with it in any way. The only reason why I’m selling it is because I had some very large trees I needed to cut down this spring and I bought a bigger saw that is now my go to saw. I’m just not using this saw any longer, however I have started it every two weeks and let it idle for about 10 minutes. As I said earlier, start easy every time.
This is a very, very good deal. This saw retails new at $529.99 + tax. For that price you get the saw, one bar, one chain, scabbard and bar wrench. If you add up the extra bar, 4 chains, and the files and handle you are easily at $700+. Also, it will come with a full tank of fuel and full tank of bar and chain oil.
The price of $425 is firm. No haggling. If I don’t sell this saw, I’ll just keep it as an extra to have on hand.
I live in the Donegal/Acme area and I work in Latrobe, so meeting up around those areas is no problem. If you live in a different area just let me know and we’ll work it out. If you live in the Pittsburgh area I will meet you somewhere in Monroeville for an additional $25 to cover fuel and turnpike fees.
