I have a 12 yr old mare named opal. She is flea bitten grey mustang. She's a great horse especially for someone who likes to trail ride. She loads, picks up her feet etc. I'm considering sharing her with someone trust worthy because I can't afford to have another horse to keep her company at the moment, she's allergic to the trees I have but they won't be cut down till summer and she needs quality hay so her asthma doesn't work up.
*(I just want her to be more happy and comfortable while I am working on improving our situation)
She's more whoa than go but will perk up after consistent exercise. She is good with dogs and most animals she gets to know. She's 15 hands. I love her, so she will only go where she gets lots of attention or has other horses for company and will be able to handle her allergies. There is no monthly fee. Just whomever supervision she is under is responsibility for her care expenses. Her where abouts must be updated if she's moved from one location to another to be boarded there. As for normal equine trips or activities it is not necessary. We would need someone who is okay with for at minimum 6 months to year of care / sharing her. In return you will get to have horse without having to pay for it, if hard times come you have a "co-parent" to help out and at anytime you're able to change your mind about having a horse. Just bring her back to me. If you do decide you love her as much as I do. We can continue the relationship long after requirements are filled.
