This lovely chair is one of the few pieces that remain from the Pittsburgh Nixon Theater (asking price $200 or best offer). The chair is in excellent condition.

The Pittsburgh Nixon Theater was described as "the worlds most perfect Playhouse" of its time. It was one of the finest built and longer operating Playhouses in Pittsburgh's Playhouse history. Opening in 1903 through 1950 on the corner of sixth Avenue and William Penn Place, then moving to Liberty Avenue where it closed in 1975. The Playhouse had numerous extravagant performances.

This is the original finish of the chair. The chair measurements are 18" length x 18" deep x 38.5" high.
