Axel is a beautiful, purebred 6-year-old Husky (birthday August 2019). He’s a 55-pound neutered male, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. His bright eyes, beautiful markings, and affectionate personality make him unforgettable.

Personality
Axel is a friendly, loving, and social dog who bonds easily with people. He loves attention, belly rubs, and being part of the action. His current owner describes him as affectionate and goofy — the kind of dog who’ll flop onto his back with all four paws in the air, or circle a few times before “plopping” dramatically down for a rest.
He’s happiest on the move — going for walks, playing with toys (especially bones), or just being outside exploring. Axel has a high energy level and thrives with lots of exercise, structure, and engagement.
He’s done well around children (his previous family had kids under 10), but because of his excitement level, he might accidentally knock smaller kids over when playing.

Training & Behavior
Axel knows “sit” and is house-trained. He’s eager but impulsive — he’ll need some consistent training to polish his manners and work on recall (“come”) and leash walking.
He sometimes pulls on leash, may counter-surf for snacks if food is left out, and can get into the garbage if bored. Axel may have a bit of separation anxiety, so a home where someone is around often or can help him adjust gradually would be ideal.
He’s lived peacefully near other dogs in kennels and at the groomer but has shown dominant behavior when outdoors with other dogs. He recently got into a neighbors chicken coop and unfortunately killed some of the birds. For that reason, he’s best suited as the only pet in the household.
