Friendly Event Companion / Social Support for Gatherings (Pittsburgh)

If you need a positive, reliable, and friendly event companion (she/her, 27) for a wedding, work function, party, or other social gathering, I’m offering light social support as a side-gig while my regular job has reduced hours.
What I can help with:
• Being a warm, easygoing presence at your event
• Assisting with small talk and helping things feel less awkward
• Blending in naturally with your group or guests
• Offering general social support so you feel more comfortable attending
• Always respectful, drama-free, and adaptable
Safety & Boundaries (non-negotiable):
• Strictly platonic, non-romantic, non-physical
• A brief video call beforehand to ensure the situation is safe and comfortable for both of us
• I provide my own transportation
• We meet in public or directly at the event—no home pickups
• No physical contact beyond what’s typical between acquaintances at public events
• If something feels unsafe at any time, I may leave
Rates:
• Sliding scale: $20–$50 per hour depending on event type and length
• 2-hour minimum for events outside the immediate Pittsburgh area
