The Bag End ELF (Extended Low Frequency) Integrator is a specialized bass management system designed to work with Bag End ELF subwoofers. Introduced in the 1990s, the ELF concept allows full-range audio systems to reproduce extremely low frequencies—down to 8 Hz—without the size and inefficiency of traditional large subwoofer designs.
The ELF Integrator corrects the natural low-frequency roll-off of the ELF subwoofer by applying precise equalization and alignment. It also includes a built-in infrasonic filter to protect drivers from over-excursion below the operating range. Available in both single-channel and stereo configurations, ELF units are found in professional studios, theaters, touring rigs, and high-end home audio systems.
