For sale is my 1996 Chevrolet Starcraft conversion van based on the Express 1500 chassis with the reliable 5.7L V8 engine. This van has been a solid daily driver for me, with only about 145,000 miles on it—pretty low for its age. It's got all the classic conversion features like plush captain's chairs, rear bench that folds into a bed was taken out for more space, wood trim accents, power windows/locks, cruise control, AM/FM stereo, and plenty of storage. The interior is clean and comfortable, great for road trips, camping, or even as a work van with the extra space. Exterior is in decent shape for a 29-year-old vehicle—no major dents that I've noticed, and it starts right up every time. Minor rest repair may be needed for inspection stickers as you can see documented and evaluation. I got Mr Tires however, you may be able to bring it to another shop it’ll pass.
It's mechanically sound overall and runs smooth, nothing that's stranded me or affected regular driving. Just replaced the battery as well ; tires are needing replacing soon (I may replace prior to purchase), brakes need replacing soon , everything needed to pass inspection is documented as I brought it to the shop. It’s a good work truck or daily driver. I’m currently driving it daily.
