The Field Sales Supervisor will be responsible for the vendor relationship with all door to door sales vendors in all active markets. Duties include review of sales reporting, visiting sales vendor offices, sitting in on sales agent training sessions, participating in vendor sales meetings and walking in the field with agents.
This position is responsible for ensuring that Direct Energy is delivering a positive and compliant customer experience through the Residential sales channel. With offices in Ohio, Pittsburgh, and Michigan, we are also looking to fast track the right supervisor from the field to an office position. Taking over and expanding or future offices.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
*Responsible for the sales quality by working day to day with all sales vendors in active markets to deliver the highest quality sales in the industry
*Responsible for quality and compliance related activity, including the adherence to market rules, sales presentation requirements, sales marketing collateral, and customer leave-behind requirements
*Review daily sales reports to monitor sales quality by vendor and by agents
*Review daily sample of TPV recordings to confirm adherence to verification process and script adherence
*Complete weekly visits to vendor sales offices and monitor training meetings, sales meetings, and walk with the agents in the field to monitor both agent and customer behaviors
*Report weekly on TPV recordings identifying any quality issues with TPV vendor or sales agents
*Report weekly on sales tablet utilization and cloud sales information by vendor and agent for any quality issues
*Track all sales tablet inventory by vendor to make sure vendors are maximizing tablet use in the field
*Assist with training and on-boarding.
*Drive continuous process improvements leading to increased efficiency and effectiveness
*Strong ability to communicate effectively with external vendors and internally across organizational levels and functions is critical to the success in this role
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
*High School Diploma or GED required
*1-3 years of experience with customer service and/or sales
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to listen and provide concise, timely, and articulate feedback
*Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
*Ability to analyze information, solve problems and make quick, fact-based decisions
*Must have reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license
*Adaptable and flexible
*Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is required
*Ability to build strong partnerships with the internal and external teams, including employees at all levels within the organization
*Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with a proactive working style
