Brand new Sony DVD player works but will not respond to the remote. Batteries have been replaced, just in case that was the issue. Did all of the "unplug," "replug" suggestions, hit the buttons a million times and still nothing. Even replaced the remote and the DVD player still does not respond to it. Clearly I am missing something. Help.
