This is all of the individual Pirates cards in the Topps baseball set for 1978. There are 27 cards in all. Their condition is sharp; a few would be classified as Excellent, but most are Near Mint. Included in the set is Hall of Famer Willie Stargell as well as fan favorites Kent Tekulve, Al Oliver, Omar Moreno, Phil Garner, and Dave Parker. There are some local guys - manager Chuck Tanner, Bill Robinson, and Ken Macha, as well as rookies of Mike Easler and former Pirates manager, Clint Hurdle (with Miguel Dilone), when he was a rookie with Kansas City. Another "fluke" is the rookie card of Hall of Fame pitcher Jack Morris of the Tigers (a $15 card), who appears on the same card as Tim Jones of the Pirates. Essentially, this is the main part of the team that won the World Series the next year. I have them shown here in 9-pocket plastic sheets.
