Job Summary

We are currently seeking Self Storage Managers. The Self Storage Facility Manager is a professional, customer service oriented individual who has excellent sales skills, both in person and over the phone as they will interact with prospective and existing storage customers. The Manager will take charge of running the facility with exceptional organizational skills and a can do attitude. They will manage the day to day operations by paying close attention to detail while never losing sight of the importance of a satisfied customer.

Responsibilities and Duties

- This individual will contribute to the profitability of the facility by
Carrying out the sales, operational and financial objectives set forth
by management
- Identify our customer's needs and provide solutions accordingly
- Maintain all required customer documentation in a neat and orderly
manner as directed by management including Completing Lease agreements,
understanding the terms and able to explain the contract to customers
in detail.
- Accurately, post payments, balance payment receipts, prepare bank
deposits and pursue collections
- Provide daily, weekly, monthly reports (generated by facility software)
to management as needed
- Be autonomous and perform at a high level without daily supervision
- Making Sure all Opening and Closing paperwork is filed and verified
- Cleans space(s) as vacated, hallways, and grounds as needed. Clean
Office and restrooms daily
- Maintains a neat, clean, safe and secure facility including minor
Maintenance and daily lock checks as well as visual inspection daily
- Assist in preparing units for auction as prescribed by law, and
Approved by management
- Must have a Valid Driver's License
- Effectively communicates with management and fellow associates
- Train, oversee and manage the Relief Manager(s)
- Light maintenance duties include sweeping units, assisting customers
with door troubles and other general light maintenance duties that
contribute to keeping a clean facility at all times

Qualifications and Skills
- Prior self-storage experience preferred but not required
- Self-Storage Software Experience is a plus
- Customer service, retail sales,is preferred
- Successful record of accomplishment of sales skills in the self-storage
or retail industry is preferred
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable form of transportation are required
in order to perform essential functions of this job
- Weekend availability is required
- Possess the eagerness and work ethics to succeed in a customer service

Core Competencies
- General office and telephone skills are required
- Strong Computer Skills are required
- Good written and verbal communication skills

Required Education

- High School Diploma or equivalent is required, some college preferred.

- Outgoing customer service orientated personality with good
Communication skills
- Some retail experience sales experience a plus
- Good organizational skills
- Basic bookkeeping skills
- Ability to perform light maintenance
