Vintage Peugeot Road Bike: Roughly 1975 Peugeot PR-10 (approx. 64cm / 25.25"), ideal for riders 6'3" and taller. Not the same as common entry-level Peugeots of the 70's, the PR-10 was a "Semi-Professional" model featuring upgraded components and lighter-weight construction.
I was slowly refurbishing and getting this bike road ready, but since I'm not tall enough to enjoy it, it is time that I stop.
Lugged steel with "Tube Spécial Allégé" Peugeot tubing.
Classic half-chrome tips in great vintage condition.
Original MAFAC "Racer" center-pull brakes.
10-speed (2x5) with period-correct Simplex derailleurs.
Square-Taper crank interface (an upgrade over the standard cottered pins found on lower models).
Many parts have been cleaned and re-lubricated.
Wheels and tires are in decent shape and hold air.
NEEDS: The right crank arm has a wobble. It is an internal square taper which appears slightly worn. It will likely need a replacement right-side crank arm (Nervar or possible to replace with Stronglight or a more modern crank arm).
Fair condition with expected chips, scratches, and aging on the decals—authentic 1970s paint.
