The bike offered here is newly custom-built on the platform of Douglas Racing's top of the line Titanium Carbon "Precision Plus" frameset in 59cm center to center size. It features Reynolds carbon fiber seat stays, Reynolds Ouzo Pro carbon fiber fork, and is equipped with a great component group. It may turn out to be your dream bike of a lifetime.
CONDITION: excellent and exceptional. With the sole exception of some worn & faded model name decal on the top tube, the frameset is in near pristine condition. Many components are brand new or close to it with only a few having minor cosmetic issues.
COMPONENTS:
- Mavic SSC 700c wheelset with Delta Axl-Rodz leverless skewers. Wheels, exceptionally fine, near flawless, and arguably one of the most beautiful wheelsets ever made. The skewer set is brand new.
-Vredestein Fortezza Tri-Comp 160 psi, 700 x 25c tire set: brand new plus perhaps a mile and a half shakedown cruise.
-Chris King NoThreadset
-Velo-Orange's sleek, unique, high-reach Happy Stem. Brand new.
-EC-90 carbon fiber riser bar. Brand new.
-Specialized Zertz Insert carbon fiber seat post.
-Specialized Body Geometry racing saddle, a modern version and very near new.

-SRAM Red 11/34-T, 9-speed cassette.

-Bottom Bracket: high end Shimano UN-72 cartridge bearing square taper.

-Size, as distance between bottom bracket center to center of the top tube/seat tube interface: 59cm.
-Standover Height: 32-1/2": a rider will need to stand 6' tall to be comfortable, and, more likely, at least an inch or two taller.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
-A unique, beautifully-equipped, high-performance road bike with magical ride quality, set up for a rider who prefers a more upright riding posture. It will go toe to toe with bikes costing two or three times as much and, since production has ceased, may even grow in value if properly cared for. It's an instant classic of the future.
