A vintage hand thrown pottery Pitcher signed and dated 1894, made by studio potter Mark Chamberlain who worked in Iowa and Florida.
Mark operated the Clay Gallery with Teresa Bowen in New Smyrna Beach, Florida until his passing in 1998.
This piece is glazed in a deep charcoal gray matt glaze with a free form abstract vertical surface decoration done in soft tones of pink, pale blue, foamy teal green and jet black.
It measures 8.5" tall by 6.3" from spout to handle.
