This wax seal stamp kit (which includes 100+ wax beads, a spoon, a sun-and-moon seal, 1 stamp handle, a birds-on-a-wire seal, and 6 small candles) is available for $13.
The wooden spoon has never been used, and the only time I have ever used the seals was for the example photos of how the wax seals will turn out. I used 3 wax beads for the last 2 seals, and I used what was left in (my personal) spoon for the first wax seal.
Although you can create professional wax seals with all of these materials, I personally use my own wax seal stamp kit to add a little something special to my hand-written letters for friends and people I know. It adds an extra, fun touch.
There are 100+ wax beads, with there being 13-24 per pile of beads. To make wax seals, put 4 beads in the spoon. Then hold it over the flame of a candle. If you hold it too close to the flame, it may get bubbles, which may show up on your seal. I used 3 wax seal beads in the photo, so if you use 4, your seal will most likely look more complete.
The tweezers are for picking up the small wax beads. The stamp heads never get dirty from the wax. The cool brass heads harden the hot wax pretty quickly after you stamp it. One of the heads is a very detailed image of the sun and moon, and the other is many birds sitting on suspended phone lines. They are both pretty and peaceful seals.
I really enjoy using my own wax seal stamp kit. I’m hoping to sell this to someone who wants to make their letters/ items more fun.
