This is an oil painting of a Ribbed Purple Candle and Lavender Vase on painting. The colors in this painting are lavender, purple, pink, white, grey and black. The candle is a purple shade, the pot is a light purple shade, and the smoke from the candle is a light purple.
The background of the painting is a medium purple color. There are dark grey or black cast shadows or circles under the vase and candle. The smoke is lavender with white and a little pink to look like smoke from the candle and pot. This was made during my childhood and it shows my painting skills and understanding of still life's and tone, value, and shadow.
The painting has smoke swirls from the pot and candle. The smoke swirls and looks curly and then blurs on the left side on the top of the painting.
The vase has some water boiling over the top of the pot, and it has four purple curls from boiled water going down the vase.
The smoke swirls on the top of the painting go in the opposite directions of the top of the painting that looks like the smoke is moving in a different direction on the canvas.
This is painted on canvas that is sixteen inches by, one inches by, sixteen inches long, one inch wide by, and twelve inches high. 16l x 1w x 12h.
