6 Heavy Shells - $10 (Pittsburgh)

These 6 heavy clam shells are thick and durable. They aren’t as pretty as some other beach clams shells, and their slight weight may not be compatible with delicate crafts or art projects. I would recommend these shells to go in aquariums and fish tanks.
If you have pet snails, these shells will likely have a minor effect on the water quality to mail it more comfortable for your pet snails. If you have a lot of tannins or acidic/ low pH tank water, there’s a chance these shells may have the tiniest affect on raising the pH or making the tank environment more comfortable for them.
Ultimately, I have no use for these shells and I am a retired aquarium hobbyist. I’m hoping that these shells can go to someone who has a reason to use them! Because they are so thick, they might be a good shell to attempt to polish.
You might be able to use these shells as a water dish for certain smaller pets! They might easily tip over though. I feel like these shells will work much better in a pet enclosure than as decorations or craft supplies.
