What a perfect place for little imaginary creatures to live. The front door has its own window and the door can be opened (gently please). The roof and the shutters match. The chimney is set perfectly on the roof. It stands 10 inches high and is 8 inches wide at the widest point. It is also weighted to make sure it stays where you put it and it won't be easily knocked over.
I grew this gourd in my garden and then cured it. This entire process took about 2 years to be completed before I could use it for an art project.
There are a couple of small cracks to the very center of the bottom which are a normal occurrence during the drying process. These cracks will not spread now that the gourd is completely cured.
All my art projects are one-of-a-kind originals. I never repeat any of my art. I feel that if someone loves a piece of art enough to spend their hard earned money on it, they deserve to have the only one!
I am a local award winning artist and I enjoy working with several forms of art and gourds is just one of them.
I sign, name and number all my art. This gourd is signed on the bottom, named
‘RED and BROWN HOUSE’ and it's number is #9-194-5.
The best way to contact me is by text. I don’t check my email every day.
