As you can see, this oil painting was done on a very old saw. This is one of the saws that belonged to my Dad who was quite the carpenter. He actually built our house back in the 1940's. I wanted to preserve at least one of his saws and I felt the best way to do that was to create a painting on it. After all, who would want to destroy a saw with a beautiful oil painting on it!
I am a local, award winning artist and this is one of my original oil paintings I have listed on Craigslist.
Each piece of my art is given its own name and number. This one is #9-214-5.
It is 28 inches long and 6 inches at the widest point.
I never duplicate any of my art work, so this is a one-of-a-kind! I feel that if someone likes my art enough to put out their hard-earned money on it, they deserve to have the only one.
