At Girls Hope of Pittsburgh, we provide children with the Home, Opportunities, Parenting and Education that they could not access in their former environment. Underprivileged or at-risk children who are academically talented and driven receive the nurturing and support they need to achieve their goals. Girls Hope of Pittsburgh invites caring individuals to join us in providing for our resident scholars.

"Dinner Parents" prepare and share meals with the scholars on a weekly, biweekly, monthly, bimonthly or occasional basis, depending on their availability. Through sharing meals with the young women, "Dinner Parents" assist the Residential Counselors and House Staff in providing a stable, values centered home for the scholars.
