Dear Parents:
Are you interested in how children's minds develop?
The Cognitive Development Lab at Carnegie Mellon University would like to
invite you and your child to participate in our study on the development of
reasoning and focused attention in 2- to 7-year-old children!
If you and your child decide to participate, our researchers will play one
or two thinking games with your child. The study takes place on the campus
of Carnegie Mellon University and parking is provided free of charge. A
research session will last for approximately 10 to 20 minutes and you will
be able to observe your child play with the researchers at all times.
At the end of the research session your child will receive a small prize for
participation: a small toy and a t-shirt/water bottle.
If you have other children who are not within the age range of our study,
you are welcome to bring them with you - we have plenty of toys and books to
entertain them!
If you would like to participate, please send us an email at
CogDevLab.CMU@gmail.com or call us at 412-268-3869.
We would greatly appreciate your participation, and hope that you will help
us explore this exciting area of child development!
